UCLA Football: The best wins ranked the past five seasons

These two games going back to the 2019 season were significant wins for UCLA.

It was their second win over a ranked opponent since 2015. UCLA had struggled to beat ranked opponents in recent years, so this win was a sign of progress for the program.
UCLA in this game stopped an attempted comeback by Arizona State who scored 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. It was a win against a good team. Arizona State was a ranked team in 2019, and they defeated two top 20 ranked teams that season prior to playing UCLA.
This win showed that UCLA is capable of beating good teams. It was a momentum builder. The Bruins were coming off a road win at Stanford, so this win was important for them because they were 2-5 entering the game against the Sun Devils. UCLA went on to defeat Colorado the next week for their last win of the season.

It was their first win over a ranked opponent since they defeated BYU in 2015.
This game was considered one of the wildest and most entertaining college football games in recent history. UCLA trailed 35-17 at halftime. It was a comeback win as UCLA trailed by 11 points heading into the fourth quarter, but they rallied to win the game as they were able to score 67 points in a very high-scoring contest. it was one of the most epic comebacks in college football history.
It was a win against a good team. Washington State was ranked No. 19 going into their game against the Bruins, and they were coming off a win over Houston. This win showed that UCLA is capable of beating good teams that season as they started off the season in 2019 0-3 but their win against the Cougars was a confidence boost.
