The Bruins have only played LSU one time. UCLA defeated the LSU Tigers 38-27 in early September of 2021, at home.

In that game after a scoreless first quarter, the Bruins scored two touchdowns in the second quarter to go into halftime with a 14-10 lead. In the third quarter, both LSU and UCLA had a touchdown and a field goal each with the Bruins having a 24-20 lead going into the fourth quarter.

UCLA pulled away with two touchdowns in the final quarter and LSU scored a late touchdown but the Bruins were able to win comfortably by 11. This game was played at the Rose Bowl and now UCLA has to go on the road and play at Baton Rouge in 2024.
