5. The Pac-12 is a Horrible, Horrible Mess

This is a huge reason Cronin will be successful. The Pac-12 is horrid and ripe for the taking. Last season, UCLA had arguably the most talented roster in the conference, yet finished 7th. So imagine what they can do with a competent coach.

Though it may take time to find a rhythm at the start of next season, the Bruins should have some cohesion by the time Pac-12 play begins. The Bruins are deep in nearly every position, so Cronin will be able to easily matchup with every team in the conference.

Last season, Washington and Arizona State were the top teams in the Pac-12, and neither made it far in the NCAA Tournament. Oregon made it to the Sweet 16, but that was only after two regular season losses to 17-16 UCLA.

UCLA needed someone to steer this ship in the right direction and now they finally have a competent coach taking over. This is why UCLA will be able to quickly find success with Cronin. This will be fun.
