Week 8 vs Arizona

This schedule is just atrocious, but we warned you about that. The South Division is on the rise and Arizona is one of the reasons why with new coach Kevin Sumlin and mega dual-threat QB Khalil Tate running the offense. The Wildcats always give the Bruins a hard time and this will be no exception. With the Bruins defense going against the Bruin offense every day in practice, DC Jerry Azzinaro will be better equipped to take on the speedy Tate and Noel Mazzone’s spread offense, but it will be a challenge. UCLA will also be running on all cylinders, but the Bruins might just get by in this game, another game that that will have a very close result.

UCLA 45 – Arizona 42, W (5-2, 3-1)

Week 9 vs Utah

This is the second Friday night game of the season and it should be an interesting one. Though the Bruins get to stay home at the Rose Bowl, it has usually been a place of enchantment for the Utes. The last two times Utah has been to Pasadena, they won both contests, putting up 30 and 52 points in consecutive visits. UCLA will be ready for this game and not embarrass themselves like they did last season, giving up 272 yards on the ground, but it will be different. The Bruins will put up a fight, but still, need to evolve their style. Utah takes a third win in a row at the Rose Bowl as the Bruins enter a tough four-game stretch.

Utah 36 – UCLA 35, L (5-3, 3-2)

Week 10 at Oregon

This is a game that Oregon fans will have circled on their calendars. The return of Chip Kelly to Autzen Stadium, the loudest in the Pac-12. Yes, fans are going to give Kelly and the Bruins hell, but probably not as much hell as new Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal and his squad will give them. The Ducks are on a rising trajectory and by this time in the season, they should find their groove. UCLA should be in the same position, but Oregon is just more equipped for this game as they get the victory. It is also the last time these two will meet for three years, so thats a plus.

Oregon 45 – UCLA 38, L (5-4, 3-3)
