The UCLA Athletics Department has announced their initiative to offer half price on all UCLA sporting events to military members, veterans and their families.

The UCLA Athletic Department is all about the United States Military and to show their love for everything they have done to protect this fine nation and its people, UCLA has begun the ‘Military Appreciation Initiative’.

UCLA is offering a 50% discount on tickets to every sporting event for the upcoming 2018-19 season. That is right ladies and gentlemen, discounts to football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, gymnastics and every other sporting events for the coming year are now discounted for all military members.

UCLA has been a proud supporter of military members in the past, offering individual game discounts, but this is big as it now covers all Bruins programs.

This is also a great time to take advantage of this offer as several teams should be quite successful this season. The football team begins the Chip Kelly era which should be very entertaining. Both basketball teams are looking to build off of their success from last season, especially as both have some talented freshmen coming in.

Men’s water polo, gymnastics and beach volleyball will defend their national championships, so expect a lot of good competition here. On top of that, women’s soccer, softball and baseball (just to name a few) should also be very competitive and battle for Pac-12 titles this upcoming season.
