Washington Huskies |  HC Record (4-0) | OC Record (2-0) | Total (6-0)

Saturday, October 6

This game in early October last the Rose Bowl is going to generate a lot of interest, especially if UCLA has a winning record heading into this contest. Washington will be expected to not only be ranked by this time of the season, but well on their way to once again battling for the North.

The funny thing is that this is not the Washington team Kelly is used to. When he was at Oregon, Kelly dominated the Huskies as he has never lost to them. Six straight wins against a division rival, though things have changed a lot in that time.

As OC, Kelly smacked around the Ty Willingham Huksies and blanked Steve Sarkisian as a head coach. These were not good times for Washington.

But that was then and this is now… the Chris Petersen era. And this is where this slide gets interesting.

At Oregon, Kelly was 0-2 against Petersen. One loss as an OC and one as an HC. So if Kelly wants to get into the win column against Washington, he is going to work his magic in this home game that will be watched by the entire nation, no pressure.
