Colorado Buffaloes |  HC Record (1-0) | OC Record (0-0) | Total (1-0)

Friday, September 28

Chip Kelly only faced the Colorado Buffaloes once during his tenure at Oregon. That was during his final season. In 2012 he defeated the Buffaloes and it was not pretty.

Kelly’s Oregon Ducks slaughtered the Buffaloes, 70-14.

The Buffaloes were kind of a mess when they joined the Pac-12 Conference in 2011. In there last three years in the Big XII, they won a maximum of five games. It got worse when they joined the Conference of Champions, winning no more than four games in their first five years. In that time they had to face a dominating Oregon team and it was not pretty.

Since then, Colorado has still been a Pac-12 South cellar dweller, yet surprisingly managed to win the division in 2016. Unfortunately, they reverted back yo their underachieving ways last season and it looks to continue that way this year, which means Kelly could go 2-0 against the Buffaloes.
