Go Joe Bruin site editor Mike Regalado talks with MarkRogersTV about the state of UCLA Football as they discuss in-coming freshmen, the Bruins’ brutal schedule and new head coach Chip Kelly.

So what is the state of the UCLA football team? GJB site expert (me) brings MarRogersTV up to speed with everything that is going on with the Bruins, as we are just inside 100 days until kickoff.

With Chip Kelly taking over the UCLA football program the team is going through several changes and that will continue to be on-going, even up to the first game of the season (September 1 vs Cincinnati at the Rose Bowl).

We start off by talking about who some of the UCLA freshman impact players will be as Chip Kelly brings in his first recruiting class. Though he has a wealth of talent coming in (more importantly, he has the players he needs to execute his system), we get into who we might see a lot of this fall and why.

We then talk about what Kelly is looking for at every position, especially when it comes to the QB Battle Royale. With five quarterbacks vying for that starting spot (and all five have individual talents they can contribute) who will be the best choice for the Bruins this season?

And even though he has talent, it will not be easy for Kelly to find success in his first year (though do not rule it out) as he has brutal schedule to get through. Luckily, things get easier as we look ahead to the lighter schedule in 2019.

We also talk a little bit about how the UCLA-USC game will look… if it was on a neutral site. Enjoy.
