4. Any signs of evolution?

Chip Kelly has always been ahead of the curve. What he did at Oregon was revolutionary and literally changed the game. When he went to the NFL, he tried to continue with his forward thinking ways, but unfortunately, football caught up.

With UCLA being the first coaching gig he has had since parting with the NFL two years ago, you can guarantee that he wants to show that he still has the magic touch, but to do that, he is going to once again evolve his style of football.

One thing he worked in with the Philadelphia Eagles, which was not necessarily a trait of the Oregon Ducks, was the use of tight ends. With the Bruins deep at the TE position, Kelly will be able to build on this new twist. Not only will the big receivers be able to help with blocking, especially if the run game will heavily rely on the option, but he has several of these position players that have great hands, especially, a player Bruin fans cannot wait to return, Caleb Wilson.

So what else is Kelly going to show us? It is quite possible that we will not see a lot unfold, as Kelly will probably want to save the majority of his playbook for fall, but there should be things that make Bruins’ fans jaws drop. Anyone for a Theo Howard one-handed grab?
