UCLA Football: Jordan Lasley, Kolton Miller declare for the NFL Draft
So far, three UCLA football players will forego their final season of eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft. With Josh Rosen leaving, OT Kolton Miller and WR Jordan Lasley are following.
The UCLA football team are losing three important pieces from their 2017 team. As expected QB Josh Rosen declared, but two other Bruins will also be leaving Westwood early.

On Tuesday, the day before Rosen made his announcement, UCLA fans found out their stud left tackle Kolton Miller will be heading to the NFL Draft via Twitter as he signed with Octagon Football, a sports and entertainment agency.
Miller had been one of the more consistent players on the line for the Bruins the last three years. Despite the fact that UCLA had trouble running the ball the previous two seasons, Miller was part of the reason the run game improved under OC Jedd Fisch in 2017.
Yesterday, shortly after Rosen declared for the draft, it was announced that Lasley would also put his name in for consideration. Lasley has always been an electric player, on the field and with his personality. After playing in 11 games in 2016, it was expected that his time on the field would increase. It both did and didn’t.
Lasley was often “in the dog house” with former coach Jim Mora. This season, Lasley missed five games, though he made count the time he spent on the field. Lasley finished 2017 with 69 receptions for 1,264 yards (average 18.3 yards per catch) and 9 touchdowns.
With Rosen, Miller and Lasley gone, UCLA now has to reshape the offense, though that seems to be the plan regardless. With new head coach Chip Kelly taking over for Mora, it is expected that the Bruins will execute a spread offense similar to Kelly’s Oregon offense.

Though we will miss these Bruins, we wish them the best in the journey to the NFL. Go Bruins!
