First, we get Go Joe Bruin recruiting expert and UCLA B Team podcast host Michael Hanna on the What’s Bruin Hotline to talk about the early signing period. At least seven players that have sent in their national letter of intent to play with the Bruins in this very first early signing.
We breakdown exactly what this means for recruits, what this means for UCLA and why certain players are holding off until February. We also get into how this early signing period affects not only the Bruins, but other teams around the Pac-12 and the nation.
We then get into the game that will be as the Bruins still have one final game of the season as they get set a take on the Kansas State Wildcats in the Cactus Bowl. Will the Bruins prosper while riding their recent momentum or will the Bruins fall back into into their old habits of the Jim Mora era?
Finally, we take a look at what is going on with the UCLA basketball team as they are stumbling out of the non-conference season. They lost to Michigan, they lost to Cincinnati and had a meltdown against South Dakota. That does not bode well for their battle against Kentucky this weekend.
