Phillips is coming into UCLA this season as one of most talented players in recent history. A 5-star recruit, Phillips comes in looking to make a huge impact from game one.

He has already impressed the Bruins’ staff this summer during practice and is looking to keep that same intensity when UCLA opens up at home against Texas A&M.

At 6’5″ 255 lbs, the defensive end out of Redlands East Valley (CA) looks like a beast on the field. Combine his size with his speed (4.6 40 yard dash) and opponents will certainly be feeling the pressure he can bring.

Phillips is already seeing plenty of run with the first team defense so don’t be surprised to hear this young man’s name being called plenty of times during games.
