UCLA Football: 2017 Fall practice schedule released
The UCLA Football team released their Fall practice schedule this afternoon. They also dropped a nice surprise that contradicts early reports.
With UCLA Foootball Fall camp just a few days away, the team released their practice schedule to plenty of eager fans and media. The Bruins will open camp on Wednesday Aug. 2 with an early morning practice. They’ll close camp Sunday Aug. 20.
It wasn’t just the release of the schedule that is garnering a lot of buzz. The Bruins also dropped a bomb that should get fans excited.
That’s right. Open to the public. Just last week we heard that Jim Mora decided to close UCLA Football practices to the public and to the media. That raised plenty of concerns and complaints from fans who wanted to see practices or read the reports from their favorite UCLA Football websites.

We can speculate on why Mora originally stated practices would be closed. Many believe it was an effort to cut out as many distractions as possible while others thought it was a power play by the head coach.
Either way those have become non-issues with this news.
This news also precedes the grand unveiling of the brand new UCLA Football Wasserman Football Center which finally gives the football team their own dedicated facility. If you want to be thought of as one of the big boys you need big boy toys.
We here at GJB take great pleasure in bringing you all the reports we can about your Bruins so we are obviously just as excited as you fans in hearing this news.
Above is the newly released schedule but remember Bruin fans these are tentative times and are subject to change. Make sure to keep up with GJB on social media as we will keep you updated if a practice time changes.
There are plenty of story lines this Fall such as, how will this offensive line come together? What further development will we see from the offense as a whole? How will the young players look as the season looms?
All of these questions will be much easier to answer with a first hand account from practices instead of trying to piece together information from a number of sources.
