The UCLA Football team is having an actual Spring Game and it has a twist… UCLA coaches Amanda Cromwell and Miss Val Kondos Field will be honorary head coaches. Prepare for battle, UCLA fans!

With the UCLA Football team having their first Spring Game since 2014, the Bruins are looking to make this an all-inclusive (literally) Spring Showcase as a few other UCLA coaches are getting in on the action.

UCLA Women’s Soccer Head Coach Amanda Cromwell and UCLA Gymnastics Head Coach Valerie Kondos Field have been named honorary head coaches for the UCLA Football blue and white teams.

If you needed another reason to go to the UCLA Football Spring Showcase, well now you have one as the UCLA community will be forced to choose sides this Saturday at Drake Stadium on the campus of UCLA. The Showcase begins at 1 p.m. PT.

From an actual game atmosphere, events surrounding the game and Adidas Surplus sale, this should be one of the most exciting Spring Showcases for the Bruins since they took the field at Stub Hub Center three years ago.

The UCLA Football coaches have split the team as evenly as they could to bring a balanced game between the blue and white teams, though the rosters have not yet been announced.

Still, there is already a buzz growing around this game which should result in an exciting day of football. Go Bruins!
