UCLA Football Recruiting: 4-Star QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson Has Bruins in Final Two

The UCLA Football team is in the hunt for big time 2018 quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson who has the Bruins in his final two.

The UCLA Football team is having a good start to their 2018 recruiting class and it could get a bit brighter as the #4 quarterback in the West (according to Scout.com), Dorian Thompson-Robinson (Las Vegas, NV/Bishop Gorman HS) has the Bruins in his Top 2.

Thompson-Robinson, who comes in at 6’1″, 200 lbs., is one of the top targets for UCLA in 2018, if not the top target. The Bruins were not able to land an elite QB in 2017, only snagging 3-star Austin Burton, who is a work in progress for the Bruins, but has enrolled early and is currently in Spring Practice.

Thompson-Robinson, is an exceptional athlete who has been recruited hard by UCLA in the last year. Today, he narrowed down his schools to two, eliminating Alabama and Oregon, and staying with UCLA and Michigan.

DTR, as the kids call him, is a dual-threat quarterback that has an innate skill set that is reminiscent of Brett Hundley, though it could be that he might have a better arm than Hundley.

DTR has the ability to scan the field and look for the second and third receiver, but what makes him scary is the fact that his arm is not only strong, but accurate. He can dump the ball down the middle or set in position to launch it down field.

On top of that, add in the fact that he also has a excellent feet, which will make him deadly when defenses break down.
