What’s Bruin Show – Episode 126 – UCLA Basketball Tournament Time!
In Episode 126 of the ‘What’s Bruin Show’, we get ready for post-season play as the UCLA Basketball team begins the Pac-12 Tournament.
In this episode, hosts Jake Merrifield and I take the reins as Bill Shirley sits this one out. In his place, WBS welcomes Bruin Fan Alliance member Nijah Nelms to fill in.

We begin the show with Nelms talking about the Epic Day with the Bruin Fan Alliance. BFA hosted several local Los Angeles students and gave them an experience of a lifetime as they were treated to a day of epic Bruin awesomeness. Nelms tells us about what went down, what former Bruin athletes were in attendance and (this is really important) who she went to prom with. it was a very mayoral choice.
We then get into the meat of the show with our regular season wrap up of the UCLA Basketball season. The Bruins finished the season with a 9-game win streak which was topped off with wins over Washington and Washington State. Though both wins were good, the Bruins lost TJ Leaf in the process… but for how long?
We then look to the post-season as the Bruins head into Pac-12 Tournament play as the #3 seed. With a first-round bye, the Bruins take on either USC. With an almost expected win in the quarterfinals, UCLA should advance to possibly face Arizona. If they win that game, they possibly face Oregon.
How likely is all of this? We tell you!
