UCLA Basketball vs. Kentucky: The Showtime Game of the Year
With both the #1 Kentucky and #11 UCLA Basketball teams playing excellent hoops, it should be no surprise that their Saturday match up in Lexington should be one of the most exciting this season.
The entire game is going to be a highlight reel. Both the Kentucky and UCLA Basketball teams are very exciting this year and are going to put on a show Saturday morning.
In the eighth year of the John Calipari project at Kentucky, the Wildcat coach once again has his team as one of the top in the NCAA. UK will have been ranked #1 in the three consecutive years they have faced UCLA.
The Bruins on the other hand, have just elevated their level of play with the help of a few freshmen, an up-tempo style and total buy-in to the philosophy of team basketball.

And why is that? In the last two years, UCLA has not had the talent that Kentucky had, even though the Bruins beat the #1 Wildcats in Pauley Pavilion last season, 87-77.
This year, we have two ranked teams full of superstars that know how to do one thing very well: score (with flare).
That is something we have seen a lot of already and with these two teams going right at each other in front of a rabid Rupp Arena — that is sure to be as loud as all get out — you can guarantee that this is going to be one of the most exciting college basketball games this season.
