It’s spooky how on-point some of these matches between Pac-12 school and House of Westeros are. Thanks for making our lives much simpler, George!

Anyway, onto the Northern canines who had a comfortable existence as top dogs (see what we did there??) for a prolonged period of time, but suffered sudden and inexplicable ruin from which they’re still trying to completely recover. While no one outside of Seattle would mistake Washington with being anything resembling an erstwhile protagonist as House Stark could claim to be in Game of Thrones, the numerous similarities between the Huskies and the Direwolves are just too Stark (sorry, we’re not sorry) to ignore.

Winter Is Coming and it’s doing everything it can to avoid losing to Oregon for the thirteenth year in a row this season.
