The UCLA Football team will be getting the services of tight end Caleb Wilson for the 2016 season who is transferring from USC.
UCLA Football just got a little deeper at a position they are looking to utilize more in 2016 as former USC Trojan, TE Caleb Wilson, will be heading across town to play for the Bruins.

Wilson was a walk-on for the Trojans last season, but will come in on scholarship for UCLA. Per Bruin Report Online, he will be immediately available to play this fall.
With UCLA promoting Kennedy Polamalu to offensive coordinator, the Bruins are looking to go from the spread offense (utilized by former OC Noel Mazzone) to a more power-oriented offense. With that, the Bruins will be using tight ends and fullbacks a lot more in their schemes going forward.
With Wilson on the roster, the Bruins now have (at the least) three TEs which include incoming freshman Jordan Wilson and redshirt senior Nate Iese (who could also see time at full back). We could also be seeing a few more tight ends as Mora said that he will be making some position changes on the roster.
Wilson, who comes from Serra in Gardena, CA, played both tight end and quarterback in high school. At 6’5″, 225 lbs., Wilson is a big body that is both athletic and explosive. Not only does he have decent hands, but he can get into open space and is a good blocker.
