The UCLA Football team got a big commitment from 3-star offensive guard Francisco Perez who flipped his commitment from Cal.

The UCLA Football team got a little deeper on the offensive line today as 3-star OG Francisco Perez (Baldwin Park, CA/Baldwin Park) committed to the Bruins after originally giving his verbal to Cal.

With his pledge, the Bruins now have four offensive linemen committed to the 2016 class.

At 6’3″, 300 lbs., Perez (aka Paco Perez) is huge body that is very mobile around the line. Not only can he hold back the defense, but has no problem pushing them back to open up gaps. Perez is a very aggressive player that does not just wait for his assignment, but can pull himself across the line and seek out a block.

Additionally, Perez is a powerful run blocker that not only makes holes in the line, but can run interference down field if necessary.

Go Joe Bruin recruiting specialist Michael Hanna has stated that offensive line coach and ace recruiter Adrian Klemm has been on Perez for a long time and sees him as a good long-term prospect, one that would fit in well with a line that looks to transition to a more power-oriented offense.

Perez helps out the Bruins with depth up front after four O-linemen had departed UCLA after the 2015 season. Jake Brendel completes his time in Westwood as a graduate, Caleb Benenoch and Alex Redmond have declared early for the NFL Draft and freshman Fred Ulu-Perry will transfer to Hawaii.
