Division Rank Change (LW): -1 (3)
Last Week’s Result: L, 17-38 vs Texas A&M
It’s very early, but I’m already starting to regret hopping on the Bercovici bandwagon. I’m not hopping off of it just yet, but at this point, that’s due to principle, not better judgement.
For a team that had such high hopes coming into the season, the Sun Devils were far too underwhelming. The Aggies may have been underranked, but that’s no excuse for ASU to come into the game like they expected to win.
If Arizona State wants to return to the Top 25, they’ll have to improve their 4th quarter defense. Giving up 21 points in the final 15 minutes isn’t a good look. It’ll look even worse if that happens again against lowly Cal Poly this weekend.
