Five wins for a team that didn’t get a single victory in conference play last year seems generous, but look closely at the schedule. The Buffaloes play 13 regular season games, as they scheduled four non-conference games. Among those four opponents are UMass, a team you probably thought was in the FCS, and Nicholls State, a team that you know is in the FCS.
