Stanford: 8.5 wins, -115 over/-115 under

Source: ESPN

Stanford gave up a mere 16.4 points per game last year, which is the 2nd fewest in the country. That’s pretty memorable, but Bruin fans may remember them as the perennial killers of our hopes and dreams. UCLA has lost to Stanford seven times in row. The last time UCLA beat Stanford, their respective coaches were Rick Neuheisel and Jim Harbaugh.

It should be interesting to see how the Cardinal’s schedule affects them. It’s possible that having two separate three game home stands could be beneficial. All eyes will be on Stanford during the final home stand, closing out the season against Oregon, Cal and Notre Dame. The results of those three games will likely determine whether or not Stanford gets more than 8.5 wins this season.
