USC 70 – UCLA 96, Pac-12 Tournament Quarterfinals
UCLA Men’s Basketball also beat USC three times in a row… in one season. The Bruins had met with up with the Trojans for the third time in the 2014-15 season at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament.
The Trojans had no chance in this game as they suffered their worst loss of the season to the Bruins, 96-70. It was UCLA’s first game of the tournament (USC’s second) and the second game in a row they took on the Trojans as the defeated their crosstown rival only eight days prior to end the regular season.
In this tournament game, freshman Isaac Hamilton hit seven 3-pointers on his way to a career-high 36 points. With this win, head coach Steve Alford, just like head football coach Jim Mora, remained unbeaten against USC.
