8. Steve Sarkisian, USC Trojans

Record: 9-4 at USC, 43-33 overall

It is easy to make Steve Sarkisian a target of jokes and say he os not a great coach, but one has to realize that he pulled off some incredible feats last season. Wins at Stanford, at Notre Dame and at Arizona were impressive in the Trojan coach’s first season.

But then there were the losses to Boston College, Arizona State, Utah and UCLA that showed Steve Sarkisian needs more time to try and figure out this Pac-12 Conference. I think the question is not about him being a good coach, but if he is a good enough coach to have success in the Pac-12.

Sarkisian joined the USC football team the exact year other programs were on the rise and in this post-sanction era of USC, he needs to start winning now, especially with all the talented players that flock to Heritage Hall.
