UCLA Bruins
It was another eventful NFL Draft for UCLA football, but you probably already know that if you read Go Joe Bruin. Three players were drafted and three others were signed as un-drafted free agents, making it one of the most successful NFL Drafts for the Bruins in years.
The Bruins selected in the draft were Eric Kendricks to the Minnesota Vikings, Owamagbe Odighizuwa to the New York Giants and Brett Hundley, one of the most successful UCLA quarterbacks, is going to the Green Bay Packers. Malcom Bunche, Ellis McCarthy and Anthony Jefferson had picked up contracts after the draft.
That is a solid number of Bruins heading to the pros… but what about next year? Looking ahead, there could be a lot more Bruins hearing their name called in the 2016 NFL Draft as UCLA football as several seniors and juniors that are talented enough to make the leap to the pros.
