With the 45th pick in the 2nd Round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have selected UCLA Bruin linebacker Eric Kendricks! Boom! This matches Kendricks up with former UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr who was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft last year.

Kendricks was the heart and soul of the Bruins defense last year. Aside form his leadership skills, Kendricks was also a fierce competitor. He was not the quickest player, but he was definitely someone you did not want to run into if you were the opposition.
At 6’0″, 232 lbs., Minnesota is getting a stud linebacker that really developed under Jim Mora’s tutelage. Last year, Kendricks won both the Butkus Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy (he was the second Bruin in consecutive years to win it after Anthony Barr). Along with that, he also solidified himself as a UCLA legend as he holds the all-time career record for tackles. Talk about a guy that gets after it!
Congratulations, Mr. Kendricks, you are a Viking!
