Sure Bruin football is over, but it is never to early to take a look at the 2015 UCLA football season! Though we have a few months until Spring Practice and seven months until Fall Camp, which we will be covering extensively, let us take a look at the schedule for next season and make some early predictions.
Of course this is all speculation, but hey, what else are we going to do until Bruin football returns?
2015 UCLA Football Schedule

UCLA Bruins
Sep 5Â vs Virginia
So we all know that Virginia can be a stubborn football team, but will they be as effective away from home? Although times are not yet set for any of next season’s games, it might be fair to have a this game as a 7:30 p.m. PT kick-off (10:30 p.m. ET) to throw VA off their game as the Bruins were this year. Seriously? A 9 a.m. PT start? That was on ESPN. So come on Pac-12 Network, make it happen!
Early Prediction – WIN
Sep 12 at UNLV
There are three things about this game I would like to address:
1. It is in Las Vegas, a 45-minute flight or 5-hour drive. Bruins should flood Sin City and support UCLA football in this game.
2. It is against UNLV, not really an elite team.
3. VEGAS BABY!!!
Early Prediction – WIN
Sep 19 vs BYU
despite this being at home, BYU has ALWAYS played UCLA tough. Though this could easily be a pick ’em, we are going with UCLA in this game.
Early Prediction – WIN
Sep 26 at Arizona
In 2014, though UCLA went 7-0 away from the Rose Bowl, they played some of the easier teams in the conference. That is not the case in 2015. Though the Bruins smacked the Cats in the desert behind a Myles Jack coming out party, Tucson has always been a tough place for UCLA to play.
Early Prediction – TOO SOON TO CALL

Oct 3 vs Arizona State
UCLA destroyed a really good Sun Devil team this past season, but the last time UCLA played ASU in the Rose Bowl, they lost not only the game, but the South Division in 2013. #NeverForget
Early Prediction – WIN
Oct 15 at Stanford (Thursday)
See what I mean about UCLA’s road games this year? Not to mention an awkward Thursday game. So far they have two difficult away games to start conference play. Not to mention the fact that this game is against Stanford, a team the Bruins have not beat in seven years. Here is another tidbit (brought to you by What’s Bruin Podcast Jim Bendat in the latest episode), Cardinal QB Kevin Hogan, could potentially beat UCLA five times in his career if Stanford wins this game. Yikes.
Early Prediction – LOSS
Dec 30, 2014; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Stanford Cardinal quarterback Kevin Hogan (8) points to his team mates during the trophy presentation after the game against the Maryland Terrapins in the Foster Farms Bowl at Levi
Oct 22 vs California (Thursday)
The awkward continues as the Bruins play a second consecutive Thursday night game, this time at the Rose Bowl against California.
Early Prediction – WIN

Betsided
Oct 31 vs Colorado
It is Colorado.
Early Prediction – WIN
Nov 7 at Oregon State
With the Pac-12 schedule going in cycles every two years, UCLA once again plays North Division opponents Oregon State, but miss Oregon and Washington. The Bruins will not have the nation’s #1 strength of schedule, but they will have an easier path to the Pac-12 Championship Game.
Early Prediction – WIN
Nov 14 vs Washington State
In their last home game of the season, the Bruins face another North Division foe they have not seen in a while.
Early Prediction – WIN
Nov 21 at Utah
This will be a very tough game. Utah, though still not able to make it to the top half of the South Division, Â is always dangerous. Not only that, this game is in Salt Lake City in late November. If you are going to this game, take a jacket or seven. It will be cold.
Early Prediction – TOO SOON TO CALL
Nov 28 at USC
What was it that Brett Hundley said? I cannot quite remember…
Early Prediction – BIG WIN

Dec 4 – Pac-12 Championship Game
The Bruins return almost every starter from this past year. Combine that with the fact that they will have a relatively easier schedule next season and we could very likely be seeing UCLA in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
Early Prediction – TOO SOON TOO CALL
