“I’ll go a little conservative here and take 31-20 UCLA. I think UCLA’s defense wisely keys on Utah’s stud RB Devontae Booker and forces Travis Wilson to win this game for Utah. I don’t think Wilson is good enough to do it.

“Utah has a feisty defensive front four, as usual, and excellent linebackers in Jared Norris and Gionni Paul, so I can see them giving UCLA’s OL a fair bit of trouble. But ultimately, Brett Hundley will be the difference maker (shocker, I know), using his arm and his legs to lead the Bruins to a third straight victory over a gritty Utah squad.”

“Although Utah comes into the game 3-1, the Ute offense has not been good against Power 5 Schools, scoring only 1 offensive TD against both Michigan and Washington State. Although the Utes are deadly on special teams, the Bruins will build off the great effort in Arizona and beat up on Utah at the Rose Bowl.”

    Utah 21 – UCLA 56

“Even with Utah’s slower pace, strong defensive line and increased athleticism, I believe UCLA’s talent and growing cohesiveness will win out with a final score of 56-21, UCLA.”

    Utah 14 – UCLA 42

“Utah might arrive in Pasadena with smiles on their faces, but those will quickly be wiped away by the Bruins. Though Kenny Orjioke is done for the season, the Bruins will still manage to get good pressure, Hundley and Ish will roll, and the Bruins will come out on top 42-14.”

    Utah 10 – UCLA 31

“After last week’s 62-27 drubbing of the Sun Devils, it looks as if the offense is finally starting to click consistently. Add a fluid offensive attack to an already potent special teams unit, and you have a scary combination that the rest of the Pac is going to have to contend with.

“And hopefully this is the first week since Virginia that the defense comes together fully. Something that has really concerned me is the fact that UCLA was surrendering yards in bunches against Memphis, Texas, and ASU.

“I have a feeling that that will be fixed and the UCLA D will do a great job against Utah, while the offense continues their torrid pace and puts up 31 in the victory against a pretty solid defense.”

    Utah 14 – UCLA 48

“I was worried about Utah before they blew their game against Washington State. In their first three games, offense, defense and special teams were on fire, but when you think about who they played, those efforts seem a lot less impressive. UCLA on the other hand has headed in the opposite direction this season as they have been more and more impressive.

“Let us face it, they smashed Arizona State. The Sun Devils were not everything that they could have been, but to see every part of the Bruin football team play at a high-level was not only exciting, it was about damn time.”
