3. USC

After an embarrassing loss to Boston College, followed by a bye week, USC proved their abilities with a dominant win over Oregon State. In the win — which saw saftey Su’a Cravens elevate his game to a new level — the Trojans proved that their week three loss was simply an upset, and thus less worrisome than it may have originally indicated. Cody Kessler through a wonderful hail-mary touchdown on the last play of the second quarter, and USC seemingly vindicated their presence as a PAC-12 force.
