UCLA Football Recruiting: National Signing Day Round Up
The National Signing Day extravaganza has come and gone and now it is time to celebrate in Westwood. The #BruinRevolution continues to roll as UCLA picked up another Top 25 class for NSD 2014 and here at GJB, we cannot wait for football season.
The Bruins, who had amassed the majority of their class before signing day, topped it off with a commitment from #7 ranked middle linebacker in the nation, Kenny Young. The Louisiana product had offers from Arkansas and LSU, but in the end, decided to take his talents out of state to the new “Linebacker U”. And as a whole, UCLA’s recruiting class looks VERY good.
So let us take a look at your Bruin recruiting class for 2014:

Aside from the kickers, UCLA was able to secure at least one recruit in every position group. With 7 offensive players and 11 defensive players, UCLA has really thickened up a few positions that needed it. And the talent, oh my! Let us give you several examples:
-The Bruins have three deadly wide receivers coming to Westwood in the fall… and they are all 6’2’” or taller.
-All four of their defensive line recruits are four-star studs who may be able to contribute early.
-They picked up a total of four linebackers, who not only give that position group some serious depth, but some serious talent as well..
-They landed a 6’8”, 280 lbs. offensive tackle. We can’t wait for you to get in the game, Kolton Miller!
Wow. Taking a second look, this class may be even better than expected.
Now just remember, this is the first day that recruits can sign with their school of choice. There may be a few extra recruits that decide to take their game to Wetswood in the coming days. Stick with GoJoeBruin.com for all the up-to-the-minute news.
