The UCLA Football team continues to bring in offensive weapons on Wednesday as the Bruins got two commitments, one being a recommit.

Double Boom! That is the sound of the UCLA Football team getting two commitments from running backs on the same day as both Lentivone Lesane (Mater Academy Charter HS/Hialeah Gardens, FL) and AJ Carter (Many HS/Many, LA) have given their pledge to play for the Bruins.

Carter might seem familiar because he has already been committed to UCLA. Last week, Carter flipped to LSU, but after a week to reconsider, he is back.

Carter tweeted out , “Getting an offer from LSU is something for every Louisiana boy, but as I had time to really think and reflect I knew Inhad Karen a mistake. I committed to LSU for all the wrong reasons.” You can read Go Joe Bruin’s article on his initial commitment HERE.

Lesane is someone you may not know, but soon will.

At 6’1″, 186 lbs., Lesane is a very agile back. He can run through the line, but is better suited to attack the sides. He has good technique carrying the ball and making contact, but can also leave defenders in the dust with his speed.

On top of being a ball carrier, Lesane has good hands and can create plays for himself receiving passes in the open field, which opponents will pay for if they allow him to.

With two RBs committed, UCLA now has two for 2018. That is two more than last season, so things are really improving during this recruiting cycle. Additionally, the Bruins also have five offensive linemen committed, 4-star WR Kyle Phillip and 4-star QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Let us hope the Bruin coaches keep up the momentum with recruiting and can reel in even more top quality players.
