  • Arizona (1-0) at UTSA (1-0), 5 p.m., Fox Sports 1

The Wildcats had a very impressive showing last week beating UNLV 58-13. They might have their handful for a Thursday night game against a UTSA team that beat Houston last week 27-7, although they gave up 14 penalties for 115 yards.

    Prediction: Arizona 45 – UTSA 14

    Fri, Sep 5

    Washington State (0-1) at Nevada (1-0), 7:30 p.m., ESPN

So the season has not started the way WSU would have liked. It does not get any easier as they travel to Nevada for a Friday night affair.

    Prediction: Washington State 33 – Nevada 38

    Cal (1-0) vs Sacramento State (1-0), 12 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

After shocking the world last week by beating Northwestern on the road, the Golden Bears can double their win total with a victory over FCS Sac St. Look for a fired up Cal team to play lights out.

    Prediction: Sacramento State 14 – Cal 28

    Washington (1-0) vs Eastern Washington (2-0), 12:05 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

The Huskies looked sketchy at set in their narrow win over Hawai’i. hey cold have the same type of outing as they face the #2 ranked FCS school. I’m calling it now… upset!

    Prediction: Eastern Washington 33 – Washington 27

    Utah (1-0) vs Fresno State (0-1), 12 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

The Utes looked very good last week and they should roll over the Bulldogs the way USC did.

    Prediction: Fresno State 10 – Utah 33

    Colorado (0-1) at UMass (0-1), 12 p.m., ESPN3

If no one is watching this game, does it really happen? The Buffalo travel to UMass to take on a team that should have just as much trouble as them this season.

    Predicition: Colorado 21 – UMass 20

    #14 USC (1-0) at #13 Stanford (1-0), 12:30 p.m., ABC

Nov 16, 2013; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Southern California Trojans safety Demetrius Wright (24) and linebacker Dion Bailey (18) tackle Stanford Cardinal running back Anthony Wilkerson (32) at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. USC defeated Stanford 20-17. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The first of two big time Pac-12 games and the first conference game of the season puts two of the best defenses together. The Trojans shocked the Cardinal at the Coliseum last year, but the two-time Pac-12 Champions will be looking for some payback on their home turf.

    Prediction: USC 14 – Stanford 24

    #3 Oregon (1-0) vs #7 Michigan State (1-0), 3:30 p.m., Fox

The second monster match-up pits the B1G defense of the Spartans against the lightning quick offense of the Ducks. It may only be Week 2, but this game already has College Football Playoff implications written all over it.

    Prediction: Michigan State 20 – Oregon 17

#17 Arizona State (1-0) at New Mexico (0-1), 4 p.m., CBS Sports Network

ASU was another team that looked very good despite playing a FCS team in Week 1.The Sun Devils are looking to win their second South Division in a row, but load up on cupcakes before they get to the meat of their schedule.

Prediction: Arizona State 42 – New Mexico 13

    More from Pac-12

    #11 UCLA (1-0) vs Memphis (1-0), 7 p.m., Pac-12 Networks

The Bruins got a bit of a wake up call in a 28-20 win last week, which is good because Memphis beat Austin Peay 63-0 in their season opener. Look for the Bruins to have an improved offensive outing while the defense shuts down the Tigers.

    Prediction: Memphis 20 – UCLA 38

    Oregon State (1-0) at Hawai’i (0-1), 7:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network

Honestly, this is another toss up. Hawai’i nearly beat Washington last week and the Beavers stumbled against FCS team Portland State. I would like to call an upset, but OSU’s passing game will be too good for the Rainbow Warriors to handle.

    Prediction: Oregon State 35 – Hawai’i 28
