With the 15th pick in the 4th round and 115th pick overall, the New York Jets have drafted UCLA wide receiver, Shaquelle Evans. He is the 4th Bruin to be selected in the 2014 NFL Draft behind Anthony Barr, Xavier Su’a-Filo and Cassius Marsh.

Evans was the go-to guy for UCLA in several situations last year. He lead the team in almost every receiving statistic. Although UCLA and Brett Hundley would sometimes utilize up to ten receivers, Evans was one of the bigger targets.

As Evans heads to the bright lights of New York, Jets fans will be happy to know they have a long receiver with great hands and ability. He needs to work on being a down-field threat, but for the most part, Evans will get New York the yards they need.

As for UCLA, this is just more proof that the #BruinRevolution continues on.

Congratualtions, Mr. Evans, you are now a Jet. Go show New York how UCLA does it! Go Bruins!
