UCLA moved to 5-0 on the season with a dominating win over South Florida 94-61. Covering as a 26.5-point favorite with ease. The Bruins opened the game on a 14-0 run and never looked back cruising to another end-to-end win. Gabriela Jaquez led the way with 17 points, and the Bruins had six players in double digits. Shooting 61% on the night and creating clean open looks with tremendous ball movement.

UCLA was able to hold South Florida to only 37% shooting. While also being able to contain them in transition only giving up two fast break points. The girls rallied well together and put together a phenomenal performance. This is coming off the heels of a big win versus North Carolina, but they did not let that get to their heads and handled business in Las Vegas.
LB heard they were getting rid of the penny so she figured she'd collect some dimes 🪙

The most impressive stat of the night was the points in the paint. UCLA was able to get 56 points in the paint while only giving up 18. That is pure domination. The rotations are crisp, and a team led by majority of seniors are showing why they could be the best team in the nation. Led by Lauren Betts zoning the painted area.

The girls will get one more tune up against Southern that they should be heavy favorites in. After that they have a tough two game stretch against number four Texas and number 12 Tennessee. That will really put them to the test to see what type of team they are. But with ranked wins versus Oklahoma and North Carolina already, we know they are ready for the challenge.
