What are other publications saying about who will be the new UCLA football coach?

Here is a look at what some publications are saying will be the next UCLA football coach after the program announced that DeShaun Foster will no longer be the head coach of the Bruins.

Here is a look at some national publications predictions on who will possibly become UCLA's next head footbal coach.

This is the list of possible candidates from CBSSports and Shehan Jeyarajah.

First on their list is USC defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn, who was the defensive coordinator at UCLA for the 2023 season.

The second candidate listed is Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi, who is a popular choice among some UCLA fans.

Third on their list is Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson, which is the most surprising candidate on their list.

The fourth candidate on their list is New Mexico coach Jason Eck, which makes some sense as his coaching against UCLA was impressive.

The biggest reach on the CBS Sports list is Michigan State’s head coach Jonathan Smith because he is only in his second year in East Lansing and is in a good situation.

The list by the NYTimes/The Athletic list is similar but different than the CBSSports list written by Bruce Feldman.

They also mention the possibility of BYU’s head coach Kalani Sitake, becoming the next UCLA coach.

The fifth, and in our opinion, the most likely candidate to be UCLA’s next coach is Florida State’s DC Tony White.

The sixth candidate comes from the NFL in Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees.

The last candidate on their list is New Mexico coach Jason Eck.

The USA Today list of eight potential candidates is the most unique list to put it nicely and is writen by Ehsan Kassim. Two of these candidates have a zero percent chance of becoming the next head coach at UCLA.
