UCLA heads into their matchup with Washington tonight at 3-7 and on a three-game losing streak. There are a lot of unknowns about UCLA’s future going into this game. Will this be the last game at the Rose Bowl? Or will there be more in the coming years? A dispute that continues and has no resolution yet on a possible move to SoFi stadium.
UCLA is trying to get out of playing at the Rose Bowl as early as 2026.

The school is looking to host football home games at SoFi Stadium, which could offer luxury suite ticket sales and is closer to campus. However, the City of Pasadena is suing UCLA to prevent this.
UCLA took the college football world by storm just a month ago. After starting the season, 0-4. They went on a three-game winning streak and completely turned the tides. But over the last three games, their offense and defense have continued to decline. Leading to them limping into the last few games of the season. Which is sure to be met with a lot of change, including a brand-new head coach and staff.
UCLA also figures to have quite a bit of roster turnover. Whether that is portal transfers or new recruits. A big factor will be which head coach comes in and whether they can recruit or bring guys with them. One of those head coaches in the rumors is Jedd Fisch. Who will be coaching on the visiting sidelines tonight for Washington. Could this be his audition, or is his comments about not being interested true to form?
#Huskies head coach Jedd Fisch said “those lists are made by people who have no idea what’s going on” in regard to being a candidate at UCLA and Florida. Also opened up about speculation that his family doesn’t like Seattle. pic.twitter.com/tVJm8PHM0c

Washington comes into this game at 7-3. They are 37th in the nation at 30.3 points per game on offense. While only giving up 20.3 points per game on defense which is ranked number 20. Their defensive numbers favor stopping the run as they are top 20 in run defense. But they are susceptible through the air and can be beaten by that. Their sack percentage is 4.62% good for 115th in the nation and give up 212.7 pass yards per game.
For UCLA to come away with a victory as 10.5-point underdogs. They will need Nico Iamaleava to be healthy and firing the ball. If the offense can do that, Washington will need to drop more in coverage. Freeing up the run game. UCLA will play better than in recent weeks. But don’t have enough in this game. They cover the spread but not enough to slow down Washington.
Prediction: Washington 34 - UCLA 24
