UCLA secured the top seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and here is a brief rundown of their success in this year's tournament.

The opening round of 64: UCLA dominated Southern University with a final score of 84–46.
This straightforward victory highlighted their dominance as the top-ranked team in the country.

Round of 32: UCLA triumphed over Richmond, securing a decisive 84–67 victory against the No. 8 seed Spiders. Despite a tightly contested first half, UCLA surged ahead in the second, demonstrating their ability to adapt and excel when the stakes were high.

Sweet Sixteen: UCLA triumphed over No. 5 seed Ole Miss with a score of 76–62, securing their spot in the Elite Eight. Lauren Betts delivered an impressive performance, racking up 31 points and securing 10 rebounds. With two impressive performances of 30 points and 10 rebounds in the tournament, she joins an elite group of just three players in the past 25 seasons to achieve this feat more than once.
