UCLA vs Arizona gameday prediction

UCLA heads to the Intuit Dome for a top 15 clash with Arizona. Coming off three uninspiring wins. The Bruins currently sit at 3-0 and now will be tested in a Friday night battle. Arizona, who is also 3-0 have looked much better in their path. Winning their last two games by a combined 61 points after an impressive opening night win over number 10 Florida.

UCLA was given three early season wins which was to be seen as confidence boosters. But they were not able to cover in any of them and even looked lost at times versus Eastern Washington and Pepperdine. Before they tightened up against West Georgia after an early 3-point barrage. A game they played without Donovan Dent due to injury.

Dent is back tonight, and UCLA will be able to roll out their normal starting lineup. Providing a punch back to the bench with Trent Perry and Jamar Brown. The chemistry seems to be there with the team in terms of ball movement. But the rotations and communication can be better and will be needed versus a top notch opponent like Arizona. They are a really good team led by star freshman Koa Peat who has been dominating.

This will be a back-and-forth affair, no playing down to opponents' levels. As these two teams both have the talent to compete. UCLA’s schedule hasn’t prepared them enough for this moment, as where Arizona got the early test with Florida. Their length and athleticism will be a wake up call for the Bruins. Leading to the Bruins needing to right the ship and no longer coast in games.
