UCLA still has two open scholarships remaining for their basketball team. They have made some plays in the transfer portal but also missed out on some big-time targets. Now they still look to bring in a scoring guard/wing to add to this team. There are not many available options remaining. But one very good one that we have spoke about in the past is Juke Harris. Could UCLA possibly make a last-minute play for him before he commit somewhere?

Harris is one of the best remaining players in the transfer portal coming in at No. 5 on 247sports. As many of the top players have committed to schools and are off the board. Harris provides a ton of intrigue to wherever he may land. He has two years of eligibility remaining and is coming off a great sophomore season at Wake Forest in 2025. Averaging 21.4 points per game on 44.4% shooting from the field. Also providing good defense at 1.3 steals per game.

There hasn’t been any known interest in him from UCLA. But that can change at the drop of a hat if they feel they need to get someone in. Especially if the Bruins are not able to land newly enter portal addition from Baylor in Tounde Yessoufou. UCLA needs to make a move if they plan on making the NCAA tournament next season. Because the roster construction right now is probably about a bubble team at best. They need another scorer.

Harris could be exactly that guy that you could run out there with Trent Perry and Jaylen Petty. He can play both a third guard or a wing position with the size that he has. He moves the floor very well and is fluid enough for a wing position. Or could be a taller guard for the team. Standing at 6’7 that is very good size that could be utilized for this team. The Bruins should definitely insert their names into the mix if they cannot get Yessoufou.
