UCLA rolled to an easy victory on Saturday night over their rivals. The USC Trojans came into this game ranked No. 17 in the nation. Jazzy Davidson is a superstar in the making and the Bruins were able to hold her in check as she shot 4-15 on the night for only 10 points. The Bruins played some of their best defensive basketball on the season as they held the Trojans to 27% shooting on the night. Which included 8-24 from 3-point range.

This is a very impressive win for the Bruins. They continue to steam roll opponents, even with one of the toughest strength of schedules in the nation. Their only blemish on the year continues to be the Texas game. One that they have responded well from and have won every game by at least 21 outside of the seven-point win over No. 19 Ohio State. This team is clicking on both ends of the floor and the starters are playing well together.

Lauren Betts kept up her dominant ways as she dropped 18 points and 12 rebounds while also blocking three shots. Ever since she has recovered from her injury. She is playing like one of the best players in the nation again. One that could go No. 1 in the 2026 WNBA Draft. Gianna Kneepkens continues her ways spacing the floor as well as she dropped 15 points on only seven shots. She has proved to be possibly the best transfer in the nation.

UCLA moves to 14-1 on the season with the win. They now have five top 20 wins on the season and an average margin of victory in those games of 19. The Bruins shot 53% on the night. They only needed four 3-point shots on the night as they outscored USC 42-10 in the paint. They also controlled the boards 46-26. After a 16-16 first quarter the Bruins outscored the Trojans 64-30 to close the game out. UCLA will get a week off before facing No. 20 Nebraska.
