UCLA is putting together a nice 2027 football recruiting class. They currently ranked as the No. 17 overall class and look to continue building on that number. One player they have major interest in is the No. 2 ranked player in the state of Nevada. A dynamic receiver in Damani Warren who stands at 6’4 and is very talented. He currently attends Arbor View and is being coveted by many schools such as USC, Alabama, Texas A&M and Arizona.
While he did not compete this past weekend, Las Vegas (Nev.) Arbor View WR Damani Warren was at The Opening and shared the latest on his relationship with UCLA and what led to him scheduling an official visit:

Warren did battle a shoulder injury that held him out of football and basketball. He is a two sport athlete and does both very well. In his sophomore season he had 35 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns. He looks to have a big senior season this upcoming year in 2026. Before he heads off to college to make his impact at the next level. Hopefully as a UCLA Bruin!
There are a lot of things that you can teach the football players, but you cannot teach size. Being 6’4 at the wide receiver position is a phenomenal trait. Especially if you’re able to run with good strides. You know that any jump ball you have a chance to go and get if you’re that tall. With defensive backs usually being around 5’10 to 6’1. That is a matchup that you can exploit with a guy like Warren’s size.

At 210 pounds there is room for him to bulk up as well. Which a college coaching staff will definitely do for him. The Bruins will need to fend off many big-time schools to be able to get him to commit. But they have shown in recent weeks that they’re more than capable of doing that. This is no longer a school that is going to get pushed around by other schools for recruits. UCLA will be fully in the mix when his decision is made.
