UCLA is victorious again and moves to 2-0 in Big Ten play on the season. The 74-63 win over Oregon follows up their 82-80 win versus Washington on Wednesday night. Now the Bruins have a little momentum building and played their best game of the season. Holding the Oregon Ducks to only 34% shooting and 63 points. Moving the Bruins to 7-2 on the season while sending Oregon to 4-5 and on a five game losing streak.

UCLA seems to be starting to figure things out and playing complete basketball. After struggling through the first six games of the season. Including a bad loss to the Cal Golden Bears. The Bruins are communicating better and seem to be playing better together. It is only one game but they shot 18-21 from the free throw line. Which was a huge boost as they have been 75% or under for five straight games up until tonight. Free throws need to be made and it cannot be stressed enough.

All five Bruins starters scored in double digits on the night. Led by Eric Dailey Jr. who bounced back from a rough game against Washington where he scored 0 points. Dailey Jr. was 6-9 from the field and had 18 points and 8 rebounds, which included 2-4 from 3-point range. When he is playing well, the Bruins usually win, due to his versatility and what all he can do with playmaking.

Donovan Dent was 4-14 from the field for 13 points as he looks to still be hampered by his injury he is working through. Skyy Clark continued his red-hot shooting start as he was 3-6 from deep. UCLA won the rebounds, assists and turnovers battle and that usually equals success on the score board. 7-2 and now head to Seattle next weekend for a battle with Gonzaga!
