UCLA heads across town to play USC for their last game of the season on Sunday. The Bruins looked to finish this season 28-1 with a perfect 18-0 record in Big Ten play. As they marched towards the Big Ten tournament and into March Madness. This has been the best season the Bruins have ever had. With them looking to finish it off with their first national championship. The girls are playing better than ever and possess an elite offense and an elite defense. That not many teams can compete with.

UCLA is led by five seniors that are all in the starting lineup. One that could see all five of those players being drafted in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Draft. Lauren Betts continues to be the best player on the roster, anchoring the offense and the defense. With Gabriela Jaquez and Kiki Rice playing tremendous basketball up front. Then transfer wings Gianna Kneepkens and Charlisse Leger-Walker fitting in very nicely to this unit and adding an extra boost. Leger-Walker is a great passer and Kneepkens is one of the best shooters in the nation.

UCLA is fully expected to win this game and finish off an amazing regular season. Then head into the Big Ten tournament as the No. 1 seed and the large favorites to win that. They will capture a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. With UCONN grabbing the top seed out of all teams. It will be curious to see how the bracket works out with the regions. But if all goes according to plan, those two teams could be on a crash course. Will UCLA be ready to answer the call this year and face their kryptonite?

UCLA and USC have already matched up one time this year. With the Bruins completely destroying the Trojans 80-46 earlier this season. UCLA has far more talent and play better basketball as a team. Their goal is to take out the best player on the other team each game. Then force others to beat them. That strategy usually works out very well for them. With that being said, the player they will focus on is Jazzy Davidson who leads their team in points, assists and rebounds.
