UCLA has a home test against Washington tomorrow night before a defining three-game stretch of their season. The Bruins who are coming off of a dominating win against Rutgers need every win they can get. As they will need to try and scrape up 20 total wins to get a decent seed in the Big Ten tournament. With March Madness quickly approaching, their fate could be in the balance. They have a three game stretch against top 10 opponents that could define everything for them. Even possibly missing the NCAA tournament.

The Bruins were able to get back on track after a double OT thriller against Indiana. A game in which they lost 98-97 after having the lead. They will need to lean on their defense to be able to make plays and get out in transition. Their defense has been much better as the season has gone on. With Skyy Clark still sidelined due to injury, Trent Perry has been a huge factor on both ends playing good basketball. But a Clark return will only help this team as he is one of the most efficient 3-point shooters in the nation.

Skyy Clark returning would be a large boost to this UCLA team

Tyler Bilodeau who has been improving his NBA Draft status this year. Continues to lead the way in scoring for UCLA and is a threat to drop 20 any night. Donovan Dent has been coming along as well being more of a facilitator to help the offense. His scoring is way down from New Mexico, but his vision opens up a lot on the court. He is eighth in the nation at 7 assists per game. That number continues to go up as he is averaging 9 assists per game over his last five games. Xavier Booker also looks to build on a career high 24 point night he had against Rutgers.

Washington is 12-11 on the season and we expect the Bruins to be decent favorites. But they cannot take this game lightly. Put your foot on the pedal and keep it there. Hannes Steinbach is one of the best freshmen in the nation and can singlehandedly win a game. He almost did earlier in the year against UCLA. A win here for the Bruins would move the team to 17-7 on the year and 9-4 in the conference moving them to around the top six. Setting them up to head to Michigan to play Michigan and Michigan State. Which will have a lot on the line for them. You go 1-1 in that stretch and thatโ€™s a win or 2-0 and you can spark up a lot of talks again.
