UCLA moved to 25-1 on the season by cruising to an easy win on Sunday afternoon over the Indiana Hoosiers 92-48. It was the Bruins 19th straight win on the season. With their only loss still courtesy of Texas early in the season. A game where UCLA did not play well all day. Bruins win by double digits if those same two teams run it back today. But things carry on and it was a wakeup call for them to fix some things. Which they have done well and continue to steamroll most opponents.

The Bruins should stay at No. 2 in the rankings which should be released tomorrow. As UCONN continues to do their thing and be undefeated. UCLA even with 10 ranked wins won’t have enough to pass them. Since they still have that one loss on the season. But come March is when everything resets and that’s when you want to make sure you win your basketball games. When it is win or go home time.

UCLA continued their elite play on defense. They held Indiana to only 31% shooting, which included 4-20 from 3-point range. This team may be the best defense in the country, and it shows on a daily basis. The Bruins on offense shot 46% from the field and hit 8-20 on their 3-point attempts. As they continued to dominate the paint as well. Outscoring Indiana 42 to 16 in the painted area.

Kiki Rice led the way in scoring was 17 points. The Bruins were fueled by another Lauren Betts double double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. While having seven players score in double digits. UCLA will stay at home to play Washington in game 27. As they look to 26-1. It remains to be seen if Washington will still be ranked as of tomorrow when the new polls drop. As they dropped their last contest against Iowa. Which might put them out and leave no more ranked opponents for the Bruins.
