Here is a brief history between UCLA and UNLV in football.

All-Time Football Series Record between these two schools: UCLA leads this series 2-0

First Game between these two football programs: Sept. 12, 2015, in Las Vegas. UCLA won 37-3.

Second Game between UCLA and UNLV: Sept.10, 2016, in Pasadena. UCLA won 42-21.

UCLA's comeback begins with them winning at UNLV: Following a deflating season-opening defeat to Utah, the Bruins are hoping to bounce back with a road win against the Rebels. DeShaun Foster has a lot of responsibility to get the team back on track, as the fans are looking for the team to improve on their season record of 5-7 from last year. This is the team's first road test of the season and an opportunity to demonstrate to their fans that they can handle adversity after suffering a 33 home loss.

UNLV's good start is not what it appears to be: The Rebels have a 2-0 record going into the contest against the Bruins after defeating Conference USA opponent Sam Houston and FCS opponent Idaho State in their opening two games. A victory over a Big Ten rival would be a major statement for the program, which will be played in front of a home audience at Allegiant Stadium, but UCLA is a slight favorite in this game for a good reason.
