Tim Skipper has renewed a jolt of energy into UCLA football that seemingly was not there two weeks ago. Sitting at 0-4, the fanbase was uninterested and looking towards basketball. Then Skipper promoted Jerry Neuheisel and Kevin Coyle to run the offense and defense, and the team is now firing on both sides of the field. His spirit is also running waves through the college and guys are having fun again. Skipper is even sending personalized messages to fans to let them know their voices are needed tomorrow.

It has not been an easy road to get here, but it is one that the Bruins have the oportunity to conitnue their streak that they have been on. Two game winning streak doesn't sound like a lot but considering this is a team that some predicted before Penn State could go 0-11, it is gigantic. You do not take these things for granted, and it will be integral for fans to be at the game and make their voices loud for the team.

Maryland will not be an easy opponent; they are a few 4th quarter meltdowns away from being 6-0 on the season. They had Washington and Nebraska beat and gave both games up, they quite possibly could be around the top 10 if that was the scenario that took place. Mike Locksley came from the Nick Saban coaching tree and knows quite a few things about offense. That will put Coyle to the test in stopping Maryland. Skipper understands the importance of starting 3-1 in Big Ten play and he has been all smiles.

4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time at the Rose Bowl tomorrow! Beautiful 80 degree day and the team is playing great football. You won't want to miss it and Skipper echoes that same sentiment to the fanbase.
