Tim Skipper will coach the last two games of the season versus Washington and USC for the Bruins. Those are two very strong opponents, and the outcome could determine Skipper‘s future. He has been linked as a great fit for the Colorado State opening head coach position. If the Bruins can finish strong in their last two games, it could help his cause. Skipper has ties to Colorado State as he split time as linebackers and assistant head coach between 2012-2014.

Skipper has been up and down as the UCLA head coach. He has not been given the best of hands but has been able to make do with what was given. The Bruins started the season 0-4. Before ripping off a three-game winning streak. One that had the college football world talking. Seeing as Jerry Neuheisel and Kevin Coyle changed the offense and defense. Giving UCLA fans hope they have not seen in a long time.

Now riding a three-game losing streak. Skipper only has two more auditions to see where his career goes next. Granted Ohio State and Indiana are the top two teams in the country for a reason. They are dominant on both sides of the ball. So, losing big to both of those teams is not a huge detriment. Although the Maryland loss was not a very good one, considering UCLA should be the better team but were banged up on the line.

Washington is just outside of the top 25. USC is number 15 with a huge showdown against Oregon tonight. If Skipper can have the Bruins competing in both games. It will put Colorado State on notice. Skipper has everything the coach for in the last two games. So, you should see the best out of this UCLA team. The positive is players are still playing hard for him even with the season being a disaster at 3-7.
