Skyy Clark enters year two with Mick Cronin at UCLA, after transferring before the 2024-25 season from Louisville. He had a smaller role with the Bruins compared to his previous season but the guards were stacked on the team. There was not much wiggle room for Cronin to work with a five guard set playing three positons. Despite that Clark put up good numbers and had shooting splits of 45.8/39.7/77.8 and was the best player for the Bruins in March Madness averaging 16 per game.
Clark had 18 points against Tennessee in the round of 32 and was one of the only players that was effective in that game keepign UCLA around. He has the ability to get hot from deep and with a Bruins roster that has multiple three level scorers, they will have some high scoring nights. Clark can get hot from deep at any time and has range that can reach out to far beyond NBA 3-point lines.

The best part for Clark entering year two at UCLA is there is no longer as big of a logjam at the guard position. The Bruins are able to downsize Tyler Bilodeau and Eric Dailey Jr. and can move back to a two-guard set. Last season the Bruins ran a three-guard starting lineup and moved Dailey Jr. and Bilodeau up a position. Clark and portal transfer Donovan Dent can be a lethal backcourt and give opposing defenders fits as both can score at all levels.
Clark will play a huge role this season for a UCLA team that had a disappointing exit last year. A new season and new energy injected into the team, is all the reason to put in on Clark stock now. He will be a guy who can consistently get you double digit scoring and play a complimentary role in helping the team play deep into March.
